Affiliate disclosure
This site publishes honest, long-form reviews of products I personally own and use. Some pages include links to buy those products on amazon.co.uk.
Amazon Associates
I am (or am applying to become) a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. That means if you click an Amazon link on this site and buy something, Amazon may pay me a commission. You pay the same price.
Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. This site is not part of Amazon. Affiliate links use rel="sponsored" where appropriate and the Associates tag elliotownrev-21.
How I choose what to review
- I only review products I own and have used myself.
- Commission never decides the verdict. If something is mediocre, the review will say so.
- Where I link to Amazon or another retailer, the page says so clearly near the link or at the top of the article (Ad / affiliate disclosure).
- Colour/finish variants of the same model may be linked for shopper choice; lived experience is only claimed for the unit I own.
UK advertising rules
Under the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance for the UK, affiliate and advertorial content must be clearly labelled so readers know when a commercial relationship exists. That is why you will see wording such as “Ad”, “Affiliate link”, or this disclosure on pages that contain those links.
